Hello everyone!! The kid has gone down early tonight so I thought I would write. She didn't really get a nap today because we were out and about, so its early to bed tonight! Today we went to my cousin Beck's house to help with wedding favors for Carol's wedding (my other cousin, Becky's sis). It was so nice to see them and the kid had fun with Becky's twin daughters. My kid and her girls are 9 months a part so they played well...for the most part. Mine has a little trouble with sharing sometimes....otherwise all went well. It was so nice seeing the ladies though. I sure do miss when we were kids. We had some good times. Well, at least Carol and I did. I can't say that I was the nicest to Becky. Sorry...you know I love you. Carol and I would kind of gang up on Beck and my bro. That's just what you do to younger siblings I guess. They both know that we love them dearly and couldn't imagine life without them. So, sorry for always being a little b!&@#. Ha ha ah!! Carol and I used to pretend that we had a secret language....we would talk in numbers. Only her and I could understand it though. It would drive our siblings NUTS!! We would be like: "Hey Carol, 54132!!!" HA HAHAHHAHA!!! She would say, "Windy, look at Becky...61854." Hahahahha!! Of course Becky and Cory would cry and tell on us to our dads. Eventually the dads would yell at us and tell us to knock it off. We would laugh. What jerks we were. Eventually we outgrew all that and became the best of friends with our siblings. Gosh...those were the days. Road trips every summer with us four kids (sometimes five if Mike went along) and our dads. Our dads were (are) awesome. They weren't the type of dads that didn't know what to do with their kids. They took us to Vegas, Florida, camping, water parks, beaches, parks, strange hotels in Lake Tahoe with a weirdo hotel manager with a barnacle growing on his four head, Mammoth, festivals, skiing...you name it, we went. They were not afraid to pack up their kids (three of us being girls) and head out on some crazy road trip. They never had a plan. They always just found us a hotel/motel. They would look through the Thomas Guide for places to stop. We ended up in some cool places, seeing some cool stuff. I miss those days. Even though we all have families of our own now, it's nice to get together every now and then to just hang out and talk about the "olden days." I sure love you ladies. The majority of my childhood memories involve you two. No matter how mean Carol and I could be, we always all came together in the end and had a great time. We really need to make an effort to see one another more often. I wish we could do one more road trip with those two guys.
Sorry for getting all nostalgic on you...I just think of how fast time has gone by. I know those days are behind us and now we must create awesome memories for our own kids. That in itself is exciting.
So when I wrote last, I totally forgot to mention that we went to the Discovery Science Center with my bro and his family and my sis Heather. Duh! We had so much fun!!! It was so awesome to see the kid and her cousins together. Her big cousin Tay is 7 years older than her and her little cousin E is 16 months younger. It is so cute to see the kid follow Tay around and E follow the older girls. We all had a really good time. We definitely need to do that kind of stuff more often. Here are some pics from our day:

So that's about it for today. Tomorrow the kid has Tee Ball. It's the cutest thing. She is in a 2/3 year old tee ball class with a local City. Thankfully she is a pretty good listener. She is the only girl too...which I think is kind of cool. Only down side to tee ball is my allergies flare up like a SOB!!! I think I will have to take a Benadryl before we go. Yuck. Here are some pics from tee ball:
Alrighty well that's it for me tonight. Sleep well all and I'll talk to you soon...I still need to post that smoked pork recipe...grrr....
